Halloween Costume Hairstyle Ideas
In a party pinch, these classic Halloween hairstyle ideas are easy to style and easy on your hair!

Princess Leia’s Double Ear Muff Buns
Best for long curly hair
Begin by dividing your hair in half. Secure each side into a ponytail directly behind your ear. Use a thin ponytail holder that matches your hair color to hide it under the buns. Then, add another small ponytail holder at the ends of each ponytail.
Next, twist one ponytail into a spiral bun and wind it forward and over your ear. Use roller bobby pins to secure the bun to the rest of your hair underneath.
Finally, pull on the edges of the bun to make it larger and flatter over your ear. Repeat on the other side.
May the Force be with you.
80s Rock Star Faux Mullet or Faux Hawk
Best for short hair or long hair
Grab your bag of bobby pins for this one! It’s a show-stopping look that is always a classic.
Begin by sectioning the top center section of your hair and pin it up with a small hair clip.
Next, sweep up one side of your hair and secure with bobby pins facing vertically, with ends pointing up. You will end up with a vertical trail of bobby pins. Repeat on the other side.
Leave the mini hair clip on top, if it’s already hidden, or replace it with some bobby pins.
Set with hairspray and you’re ready to rock all night.

Evil Witch Messy Curly Hair, Don’t Care
Best for long curly hair
Bedhead curls are perfect for this look. I would even tease the ends a bit to add more volume and sass to this look. Add your witch hat and have a magical night.
Masquerade Ball Elegant Updo
Best for short hair or long hair
If you’re looking for more glam than spooky, this look is perfect for pairing with a masquerade ball mask.
With your hair down, start by putting on your mask over your hair. You’ll be using the elastic band of the mask!
Next, gather the ends of your hair and secure then with a thin ponytail holder. Then roll the ends of your up and tuck into the mask elastic band. Secure the roll-up with bobby pins on each side.
