Try adding a bit of extra product to your ends using the praying hands method before drying to help seal in hydration and ensure a sleek, finished look. Or if a bit of a refresh is needed, wet your hands and smooth them over the ends of your hair. This will add some hydration and reactivate your styling products.
How to Style the Pretty Ponytail
1. Height
The placement of your ponytail makes a significant difference in its overall look. For a flattering and lifted style, gather your hair at the back of your head so that the ponytail sits at eye level. This height creates a sophisticated silhouette and a fuller-looking pony.
2. Volume
While still holding your gathered ponytail with one hand, use your other hand to gently tug and loosen some hair around the crown of your head. This seemingly small step is key to creating a soft and lifted look.
3. Hold

Even while using a ponytail that matches your hair color, a hair-wrapped ponytail gives it an elevated finish. Take a small clump of hair from the underside of your secured ponytail. Wrap this section of hair around the ponytail holder, ensuring it completely covers it. Then, tuck the ends of the wrapped hair under at least one loop of your ponytail holder. This creates a seamless finish that matches any outfit.
5. Finish
Don’t skip the hairspray. A light mist of flexible hold hairspray gives it the perfect finish and invisible detail that truly refines the look. While styling flyaways, it adds a subtle, lasting hold without drying or damaging your strands.
