Daily Hair Care Favorites

Happy, healthy curls begin here with the daily hair care essentials.  These cleansers and conditioners are perfect for your weekly wash days and even gentle enough for daily cleansing as well. 

Surprisingly, you’ll notice I don’t have all the trendiest curly hair products listed here. Instead, I look for products without parabens, polyquats, silicones, and sulfates.  My curls have completely transformed with the elimination of these ingredients and I hope your curls will love them too!

Curly Hair Treatments

Thankfully, healthy hair does not require much in the way of special treatments. Still, there are occasions when we might need a little something more. For example, I live in an arid climate and am always on the hunt for fabulous deep conditioners for that extra hydration boost.

Unsurprisingly, however, this product list is a bit shorter than all the others. This is mostly due to the fact that it’s been difficult to find treatments without silicones.  If you have some recommendations, please add them to the comments below!

Healthy Hair Goals

So why am I avoiding parabens, polyquats, silicones, and sulfates? In short, because I am a fan of clean beauty products and I want a simplified hair care routine.

It’s well known that harsh cleansers and buildup-causing ingredients can send us on a roller coaster of hair problems. Therefore, I chose to keep my hair routine clean and simple.
